Samba Percussion Course

Come join us for a 4-week course that will get you movin' and groovin' to basic playing techniques by learning to play Brazilian-inspired rhythms and breaks. You'll be taught by AKSamba members and get to try out all the instruments. Whether you're looking for a solid introduction to samba percussion or are interested in joining AKSamba*, we invite you to come along for the guaranteed fun! No prior musical experience is needed and we'll supply all the instruments.

Spaces are limited so bookings are essential. You can book on the registration form below.

• When: On Tuesdays, starting 9 September for four weeks
• Time: 7pm to 9pm
• Where: Auckland Bowling Club on Stanley St. in Parnell
• Cost: $75
• Included: Earplugs

*Because spaces in AKSamba are limited, unfortunately taking the workshops does not guarantee you a spot in the group.
